Nihaar Mahatme received his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2014 and BS in EE from Mumbai University in 2009. After joining NXP in 2014, he worked on low-power and high reliability SRAM development for energy constrained and high-reliability automotive electronics. Presently he is Technology Strategy lead in the Microcontrollers business line in NXP which develops processor solutions for low power IoT/edge devices as well as industrial and automotive applications. His research interests include low-power, reliability, novel memories. He has authored or co-authored more than 45 papers and holds 3 US patents.
